For Therapists

Give your clients a tool that actually works between sessions

Reground is an evidence-based skill practice app built by a licensed therapist. Four modalities (DBT, CBT, IFS, ACT) with guided exercises your clients can access the moment they're triggered.

Four evidence-based modalities in one calm place

Reground isn't a chatbot or journal. It's a structured skill practice tool that meets your clients exactly where they are — dysregulated, overwhelmed, or in crisis — and walks them through the exercises you've already taught them.

DBT

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

TIPP, STOP, 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding. Skills for surviving acute distress without making it worse.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Thought records, cognitive restructuring. For when anxious thoughts are spiraling.

IFS

Internal Family Systems

Parts work, unburdening, Self-to-Self communication. For shame and inner conflict.

ACT

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Values clarification, defusion, acceptance. For stuck patterns and avoidance.

Emotion triggers → Matched skill → Guided practice

Your client opens the app, names what they're feeling, and Reground guides them through the exact skill you've taught them in session — step by step, with no reliance on memory or willpower.

1

Name the feeling

Client selects their emotion (anxious, shame, angry, overwhelmed, numb, triggered, sad)

2

Get matched to a skill

Reground identifies the evidence-based modality and specific skill for that emotion

3

Guided practice

Step-by-step prompts walk them through the exercise — no memory required

Built by a licensed therapist, not a tech company

Reground was created by Franzie Giordani, MS, LPC, ASDCS, LCPC, a practicing therapist since 2017. Every exercise in this app was selected because it works in the therapy room, not just in research papers.

She is licensed in Illinois and Maryland, and practices EMDR, IFS, DBT, ACT, REBT, and trauma-focused CBT.
